Fourth class employees stage sit-in

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Basic Shiksha Parishad Chaturtha Shreni Karmachari Sangh (UP Basic Shiksha Fourth Class Employees Association) staged their statewide sit-in in front of Vidhan Bhawan today.
The employees are demanding immediate implementation of their 7-point charter of demands. The demands include promotion of Graduate and Post Graduate fourth-class employees, approval of clerk posts and appointment of class fourth employees in primary schools.
Addressing the employees, the association president Shree Ram Raj Dubey said that the employees were ready to sacrifice anything for their demands and if state government failed to take action, they would show their anger in the forthcoming polls.
A large number of fourth class employees and their leaders were present at the protest site.
